The purpose of the Agile Leaders SIG is to provide a forum in which those responsible for leading agile adoption and improving agile practices can learn from each other.  Attendees are expected to share their knowledge with the group and contribute their unique perspectives.

Hyperformix is on the south side of Lake Austin at the 360 Pennybacker bridge.

• Coming down 360 from the north, turn right into the first driveway immediately after the bridge.
• Coming up 360 from the south, exit right before the bridge, take the turnaround under the bridge and then turn right in the first driveway.

You can park in the open lots or any of the garages that aren't indicated as reserved.

This month's session:

"Are you my Product Owner?  Symptoms of a weak or missing Product Ownership Role" 

If you were to ask 100 companies to point out their product owner for a given product, my guess is you would find lots of fingers and nobody really at the end of them.  It's not that we don't have product managers and marketing specialists and it's not the case generally that teams are struggling to build backlog.  Let's see if we can help our organizations by defining three things: 

1. How do I know that we are missing the role?
2. What really do we want our Product Owners to do?
3. How do we measure that the job is getting done?

The job of our leaders group today will be discover how we are all handling these questions.
